The moment a student decides that Susquehanna is where they want to study, we ask that their Academic Advisor have some conversations to think about, what major might you be pursuing? Where do you think you want to go with that major? And then when they do arrive on campus, I'm part of the Career Development Center, who really helps students with a four year plan-- that guides them through activities and co-curricular involvement in order to ensure that they're on the right path. I think we do a fantastic job of cultivating students to go into the real world, and have job placements afterwards. The job placement rate is very high. I'm going to be working in New York City with PwC upon graduation, and I cannot say enough great things about the Career Development Center. The Career Development Center has helped me immensely. The individuals in there are willing to review your cover letter, your resume. They're going to help with anything interview related. I could tell you story after story of students that had job offers before they even came back to start their senior year with companies like Amazon, with accounting firms, with Yeti, for example. And there's nothing more satisfying for our faculty and staff to know that the work that we're doing with students is paying off.
